March 2023 Lakes Region Statistical Report

Alton experienced the 3rd highest new listings in the Lakes Region for February of 2023 with a total of 7. There were 3 sold listings in Alton last month. The average days on market decreased by 26 days compared to February of 2022. The median sales price of February 2023 was $135k less in Alton than in February of last year. 

Center Harbor had little real estate activity in February of this year. There were no sold listings and only 1 new listing last month. 

Gilford had the highest median sales price in this report compared to the other Lakes Region towns. There were the same amount of new listings in Gilford in February of 2022 and 2023. However, there were 5 less sold properties this year compared to last. The median sales price increased by $780k last month compared to the year before. 

 Laconia was in the top 3 towns for 4 out of 6 categories in this report!

Meredith had 8 new listings last month which was the 2nd highest in this report amongst the Lakes Region towns. Meredith had the third highest list to sale ratio of 98.13% in February of 2023. The average days on market increased by 86 days. The median sales price decreased by over $1.6 million compared to February of last year. The volume sold in February of 2023 was significantly less than that of last year by $8 million. 

Moultonborough was in the top 3 towns for 4 out of 6 categories in this report!

Tuftonboro had the same number of new listings last month compared to February of last year. There were 3 sold listings in Tuftonboro last month.
