- We are now able to accept SNAP/EBT and Veterans' Market Dollars! Thanks to the Granite State Market Match program and the NH Food Bank, we also match the first $20 of a SNAP purchase. A limited number are available each season.
Some things are always the same:
- You can always find us on Wednesdays, 4-6:30pm, in the center of Canterbury next to the Elkins Public Library. The only exception is if there are big thunderstorms! Market runs until the last Wed. in September.
- There will always be a great selection of vendors featuring fresh and local fruits, veggies, eggs, maple products, baked goods, crafts and more.
- While the musicians change every week, there is always great live music.
- Dogs are always welcome, so long as they are on their leash. Please be mindful of the heat!
Some things are a little different each week:
- FIRST week of the month we?ll have a Kids' Activity.
- SECOND week of the month the NH Master Gardeners will answer questions.
- THIRD week of the month we?ll host our famous ?Sandwich Slam.?

Artist Bios
Katie Dobbins
With moving lyrics and mesmerizing melodies, folk-pop artist Katie Dobbins captivates audiences and opens hearts. Whether performing solo or with a band, in front of twenty or one-hundred people, Dobbins brings energy and a personal touch to every show. A story-teller at heart, her catchy words and sense of humor will have you nodding and singing along in no time. Katie’s mission is to share music and light wherever she goes, as evidenced by a recent fan review stating “this show was full of love, light, and positivity” (John Doherty). Her two albums She Is Free and There Is Light have earned her recognition at several local award shows and are available on all streaming platforms.
Alli Beaudry
Singer/Songwriter, Manchester NH native and alumna of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Alli’s musical tastes have grown to be as diverse as her vocal talent. She is a sought after session singer and performer known for her versatility in all styles of contemporary music. Beaudry’s sophomore album, ‘The Voice From Within’ is a direct reflection of her life the past few years, a journey of self discovery and letting the inner artist speak truthfully.
Alli’s music has been featured on 92.5 THE RIVER & 106.3 Frank FM, numerous times. Beaudry was also voted Best Original Artist in the Hippo Press Magazine “Best of 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, & 2014 & 2020”. She teaches private voice in Manchester, NH and is faculty in the Voice Dept at her alma mater Berklee College of Music.
Jackie Therrien
Jackie Therrien is a 19 year old indie folk/alternative singer, songwriter, musician, and producer from the town of Merrimack, New Hampshire. She started writing instrumental music at the age of 13. By the age of 14, she began incorporating lyrics into her songs. She currently writes, records, and produces all of her own music. She plays piano, guitar, ukulele, mandolin, and clarinet. Jackie is currently based in Nashville, studying songwriting at Belmont University and performing regularly at many noteworthy venues like The Bluebird Cafe and Tin Roof (on Broadway).
In November of 2019, she released her first album, Love Letters, along with the lead single Get My Attention. Get My Attention now has over 14k streams in over 65 different countries. In August of 2020, she released her second album, Dreaming, along with two singles from the album, Beautiful Boy and Stay. Stay has now become her most popular song with over 17k streams. Unlike Love Letters, Dreaming is completely self produced. Since Dreaming, Jackie has released 6 singles- No Parties (2020), April (2021), I Tried Too Hard (2021), Storm in a Teacup, (2022), Wake (2022), and her most recent, Johanna, which just came out in in March of 2023. This is also her first ever release in Nashville!
Jackie released her first EP in March of 2022, called Night Music. It consists of 7 songs, all written, recorded, produced, and performed by her. Within less than 24 hours it had already hit 11.3k streams on Spotify, making it her best release day yet!

Daniela Schachter Trio at Hermit Woods June 29th

Daniela Schächter makes her return to the Hermit Woods Loft, performing with her Trio (John Lockwood on bass and Steve Langone on drums) a few arrangements of standards from her latest albums and some new original compositions. Her contemporary approach to jazz always brings something new to the audience. She received standing ovations from her first appearance at the Loft last year. Daniela Schächter started early her musical career: by her mid-teens was already performing publicly in Sicily, Italy, as well as doing studio session work. After her classical studies she moved to Boston as recipient of a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music, where she studied with Phil Wilson, Joe Lovano, Hal Crook and Joanne Brackeen. Daniela has won many awards and was a guest artist of the prestigious Marian McPartland Piano Jazz radio program. She is currently leading her group in several venues in New York and Boston, where she resides. Daniela is Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music and AMP Professor at Brown University.
