This session will be presented by Chris Martin, Senior Biologist with the New Hampshire Audubon.
This webinar is part of the “Explore Lakes with NH LAKES” webinar series—a monthly event being offered through spring 2021. Hundreds of participants have tuned in since it kicked off in October 2020 and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive!

Snowshoe Yoga February 6th

Enjoy the outdoors this winter while doing yoga! In this unique and peaceful snowshoe experience, immerse yourself in the peacefulness of nature as you practice yoga in snowshoes, are guided through a walking mediation, and are introduced to shinrin-yoku, or “forest bathing.”
Wild Winter Walk February 7th
Sunday 10am-11:30am | Squam Lake Natural Science Center | 23 Science Center Rd, Holderness
Have you ever wondered what happens to the animals at the Science Center during the winter? Most of them stay in the same place, just as they would in the wild.Join a staff naturalist for a guided walk on the live animal exhibit trail to see our animal ambassadors dressed in their winter coats and discuss how these native animals are well adapted for winter in New Hampshire. If needed, snowshoes are available at no extra cost or bring your own. An adult must accompany children. This program is all outdoors; dress in warm layers with insulated snow boots, hats, and gloves. Ages 6 & up
Advance registration is required. Maximum of 10 participants per session due to Covid-19.
