2019 Rafting for Wishes!

The Lake Life Team and Stephan's Landscaping teamed up for another year to participate in the Rafting for Wishes event in Meredith Bay. Rafting for Wishes is an event that began with Jason Perry and Jason Trembley when they both took a single raft out on the Merrimack River for 36 hours to raise money for Make-A-Wish NH. Over the years, the event has been getting bigger and bigger! The single raft that held two people is now made up of 20 sleeping cabins, and 3 large rafts that can hold up to 50 people each where most of the participants relax and play games! Our team team took turns on the raft over the course of the 24 hour event, and we kept busy by participating in the corn-hole tournament, watching the fireworks, swimming, and watching an outdoor movie from the water! 🎆🎬

The goal for Rafting for Wishes is to be able to raise enough money for all the children in NH that are suffering from life threatening illnesses and make sure they are able to get their wish made possible. Our team has a wish buddy, Emme, who was able to go Disney World on behalf of Make-A-Wish! Within the event, is a little competition on who can raise the most money. With the help of our clients, friends, and family, Team Landscaping Lake Life was able to raise $22,653 making us the first place team!🏆 The overall goal for the event was to be able to raise $225,000, but the expectations were exceeded by bringing in $237,450 total! 😍
